Once I Was Pretty, I Was Pretty To Anyone

NEON INDIAN AND WILD NOTHING @ MHOW
but first a note to whom it may concern (and you with the glasses): haven't been posting at all lately and i feel terrible but i am having some relationship troubles, camera troubles, internet troubles. Plus, it's the World Cup right now and i'm mexican so I've been watching the games. Couldn't care less about what i am wearing.
on to the post:
Life in NYC has been a whirlwind of summer shows and late nights. I went to see Future Islands play at Silent Barn last week and didnt think twice about going into the crowd and dancing until all of my stuff fell on the floor because my bag broke open. Thank god i salvaged everything, but i do still have your i.d. Chelsea Yang, who ever you are! hope your NYU loans aren't too extreme ;)
didin't manage to get pictures though, but i have pictures of the Neon Indian show. it's a bit wild how popular they got in the last year.
Here's what i wore:

wearing Motelrocks Jeta Dress, h&M bra and sandals from endless.com

seriously in need of my old photographer grrr.

Here is Neon Indian:

Neon Indian was great but i was expecting a little better, I feel the Wild Nothing set was cut short. and i believe that Neon Indian didn't play Should Have Taken Acid With You. It was good but could've been better. Still reminiscing about the Washed Out show. But we'll see if the Northside festival is any better ( google it because i'm through linking everything for today).

if you like Neon indian you'll like Future Islands who gave an amazing show.

be cheery; things do improve. i swear i saw 'you with the glasses' and thought 'who, me??'. give miss yang back her ID! poor girl probably can't get into any school buildings.
i also just saw the moving out post. i have HORRENDOUS stories but as far as advice, hmmm...if you've already found a place, take your time packing, don't rush it or it will just be harder to unpack afterward. throw out things you don't need. REALLY throw them out. i carted so much junk from apartment to apartment b/c of sentiment and my pack-ratting.
if you haven't found a place, be VERY aggressive, travel with your checkbook and try not to make too many compromises. you'll be living here after all; you have to be happy in the space.

okay, sorry for the super long answer, lol. enjoy the moving experience!

You are really lucky. I mean you get to go to so many indie music shows.
Oh I wish I could live in New York like you. Enough complaining. Your sandals are really cool, they have this ethnic feel to them; really cool and perfect for Summer.

For the answer of your question on my blog 'is it for home design and you can just views how it will look on the computer?', Yeah it is. So you can first draw the shape of your dream house on that software then you can see it in 3D form to put the furniture, door, and so on! :D Nice outfit by the way :)
